I graduated cum laude with my bachelor's from Trinity College. I also earned my juris doctor at the University of Pennsylvania's Law School. I've written several books on education as well. I have over a decade of experience in test prep, such as the PSAT and SAT, as well as in language arts. As an instructor, I have worked with students to help them achieve 75 to 100 points in improvement. The students that I tutor in language arts begin to excel in essay writing, reading comprehension, and other aspects of language arts. I strive to bring out the best in my students, empowering them and building their self-confidence. I believe that a tutor and his student should respect and value one another to truly be motivated to rise to the challenge. I analyze each student to identify the areas they need the most work in, their skill levels elsewhere, and their academic and personal goals. From there, we work together to construct a balanced learning plan. Collaboration is invaluable to the tutoring dynamic. Education is an invaluable tool that opens us up to new experiences and possibilities. Outside of tutoring, I participate in animal rescue and other forms of community service.
